Properly uninstalled the program, deleted the registry entry of mkvtoolnix under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software, deleted the leftover files folder from AppData\Local+Temp, restarted computer and reinstalled a fresh copy and after all this then when I'm trying to opening the mkvmerge gui, what I'm getting. I'm really having some weird funny feelings now, seriously. " *** Caught unhandled unknown exception terminating" After trying to open the exe it showing this message.
In case of the portable version (8.3.0) the mkvtoolnix-gui is working properly but the mmg.exe still not working. Please, If you have any solution for this problem then please HELP me. I also tried - File > Options > mkvmerge tab > mkvmergeexecutable to mkvmerge.exe but then again the same message. I already tried to uninstall-reinstall, didn't work. "Could not create a temporary file for mkvmerge's command line option calle 'C:\Users\***\AppData\Local\Temp\mmg-mkvmerge-option-3948-1446746630878' (error code 0, No such file or directory)." Now the problem after this msg is that, though the mkvmerge window opens I can't load a file in it. You should change the mkvmerge executable in the preference dialog."
This is not supported but will not be prevented either. "The GUI is configured to use the mkvmerge executable from a different version () than the GUI itself (mkvmerge GUI v8.3.0 ('Over the Horizon') 32bit). Whenever I try to open the mkvmerge mmg, it shows this message. But for the last few days I'm facing unusual problem opening it.
